To communicate information, problem solve and provide necessary contributions to support the integrity of data and information as it relates to the Student Information Systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned. Serves as Help Desk for school personnel with questions about PowerSchool or other student management software. Assists with training or provides training for school personnel for use of PowerSchool. Assists with end-of-year procedures and the start of the school year procedures. Makes and receives telephone calls in support of schools. Maintains documentation needed for State Reporting at the District level. Types, prepares, distributes, files records/reports, correspondence, mailings etc. related to PowerSchool or other student management software. Maintains confidentiality of all student records in compliance with FERPA laws. Gathers information from files or other sources to assist in preparing reports and/or surveys as required. Operates standard office equipment. Distributes correspondence, flyers, and written communication. Performs other duties as may be assigned. JOB SPECIFICTIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus three years of experience in using PowerSchool at the school level managing student attendance, preparing the state funding reports (45-day and 135-day), enrolling and withdrawing students. Knowledge of elementary scheduling is a plus. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
